Things to do at the studio!

Bring a treasured lace doily, handkerchief, or other textured fabric to transform its delicate pattern into a ceramic keepsake that can be enjoyed for generations. Lace will also be available if you don't have any to bring.

In this workshop, artists will:

• Roll out clay and press lace to capture every delicate detail
• Form and shape plate
• Add a personalized rim
• Stamp initials, a date, or short message on the back
• Choose glaze color

All materials, glazing, and firing are included. Finished plates are approximately 10" and will be ready for pickup within 3-4 weeks.

All levels for ages 18+

Introduction to the use of a potters wheel.

Price includes: 

• 2 hour workshop (short break) 
• Bisque firing of 2 pots
• Glaze instruction for a future date
• Glaze firing of 2 pots 
• Additional pots fired for $15/each

Join us and learn techniques of impressionist painters in this 4-week course. Learn techniques that can bring more light, color, and movement to your artwork. 

Artists may work in traditional oils, water-soluble oils, tube acrylics, or tube watercolors. Please bring your own painting supplies, reference photos, or still-life setups and be ready to begin painting during the first class.
